MATCHMAKINGFACILITY PROGRAMME (MMF)

The Matchmaking Facility Programme (MMF) is a programme of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Developement, and was created to encourage Matchmaking between SME companies from developing countries and Dutch business partners. The goal is to stimulate joint business relations (investment, trade, knowledge transfer) that will strengthen the private sector in developing countries and emerging markets. This programme is administered by the NL EVD International.

Sermaya is part of the Alliance Plus Consortium. This Consortium of 9 companies is one of the winners of the European tender procedure of the Matchmaking programme, and leading matchmaker in sectors: agriculture, fish farming, meat production, horticulture, forestry industry and forestry, metals, environment, construction and infrastructure, chemicals and plastics, fertilizers, petrochemicals and mining, machinery industry, tourism, transport equipment, project design, creative industries and services.

As part of Matchmaking programme SERMAYA brings companies from Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo and Macedonia in contact with potential Dutch partners. These local companies are screened by the Dutch embassy. The screening was carried out based on reliability, professionalism, quality and commercial potential of the trade or investment idea!

After the screening inventory by the Dutch embassy in the region Sermaya looks for potential business partners in the Netherlands and sets a program visit. SERMAYA brings local and Dutch companies in contact with each other.
 
During such a visit you can identify the future business relationship with your Dutch business partner:  knowledge transfer, trade or a joint investment project (PSI).  Also this follow-up will be quided by Sermaya.
